I am not receiving emails or slack notifications, even though I set them up in notifications.
Have you received email and Slack notifications in the past, and they recently stopped working for you? Or have you never received them?
According to our logs, I do see you received one email notification with subject “Epics: Manufacturing” sent from notifications@flat.app. Would you mind checking if you can find that one?
I also see that you’ve connected your Slack but haven’t received any notifications on Slack yet. That could be because there haven’t beenany events yet that would trigger a notification. As a test, you can have a colleague create a topic and make you the owner and see if you get a notification. (You need to have a colleague do it, because you won’t receive notifications for things that you yourself do!)
I see the manufacturing email, and the test worked.
I was expecting also to get notifications about impending or past due items, that’s why I thought it wasn’t working.
I hear you. We don’t have a notification yet about impending and past due items, but it so happens we plan to release that as a daily notification very soon! I’ll keep you posted.
Happy to report that Flat now sends a daily morning digest notification via email and Slack listing the topics and tasks you have overdue or coming due soon. Just be sure to enable email and/or Slack notifications in settings. Let us know if you have any feedback!
